# Changing the Time Zone on Your Server


||| Your server’s time, including time-zone, is synchronized with its data center location, but you can change it to suit your preferences, for example, to match your local time zone


| Some trading platforms are sensitive to server’s time zone changes if they deviate from the broker or exchange time zone


1. Connect to your server or VPS
2. Right-click on the clock in the bottom-right corner

3. Select ***Adjust date/time***

4. Turn off Set time zone automatically if it is turned on

5. Under Time zone drop-down menu, select the ***preferred time zone***
